Conduct an advanced search on a few topics from the list below, using more than one type of field (e.g., subject and keyword).

Review several peer-reviewed articles and select articles that will assist you.

Choose one article for this week’s assignment and provide the following:

The reason you chose this article (consider the final project to be all the weekly assignments leading up to it).

This week, you will decide on the topic for your final presentation project, which you will further explore in Weeks 3 through 6. For this week’s assignment, identify your topic and your rationale for choosing it.

Etiology is derived from the root word eti, which means “cause,” and ology, which means the “study of.” Therefore, etiology for medical professionals is the cause(s) of disease or the science that deals with these causes. For this assignment, you will identify underlying causes for your chosen topic.
