can be for a comprehensive visit or a problem focused visit. The diagnosis for your patient should be
related to the body systems covered in class work this week.
Every
component in the template must be filled in regardless of which type of visit
you do (comprehensive vs problem focused).
When doing a problem focused visit you will be documenting on pertinent
findings, and pertinent negatives only. For any topic area in the template that
does not apply to your patient encounter, put in the phrase “Not completed in
this focused visit.”
The
