Research Paper
Research Paper/Presentation (10% of Grade) – Due by Thursday, April 29, 2021, 11:59 p.m. (CST):
Step 1: During the first two weeks of the course, each student will select a relevant situation/study from an organizational setting as a final project. The research must lend itself to assessing and diagnosing organizational needs that will lead to recommendations based on case study research. The project should allow the student to describe and conduct diagnostic activities at the organizational levels of an analysis.
Step 2: By the end of week two in the course, each student shall have emailed the professor their topic. The professor will have approved your plan and strategy to complete the project by the end of week two.
Step 3: Throughout the semester, each student is expected to spend significant time to complete this project by the deadline.
Step 4: Students are expected to update the professor on their progress each week via email.
Written Paper Details:
Each student will write a paper 8 – 10 + pages (Includes cover page, references, and other documents);
APA format;
Use the case study research method;
Any tables, graphs, or other relevant information (e.g., data collection instruments, organizational description, job description, etc.) should be included as part of the main paper.
The goal of this research is to have your organizational research published.
Presentation
Presentation (10% of Grade) Due by Thursday, April 29, 2021, 11:59 p.m. (CST):
Each student will record their presentation and submit it via Blackboard. Each presentation will last no more than 20 minutes. Students will post their feedback and questions via the discussion board.
The presentation must use power point or similar platforms (i.e., Prezi, Google slides, etc.) that will allow the student to verbally narrate their presentation.
