However, beginning to explore your understanding of abuse, your needs (if and when you encounter abuse), as well as how to create a self-care plan to avoid caregiver burnout is essential.

Initial Post

After you complete the readings and watch the video, pick two questions to answers in your initial post and reply thoughtfully to two classmates. Your discussion post should address two of the following prompts:

Discuss child abuse. What is the definition of abuse? Are there different types of abuse? How many types of abuse did these children suffer?
