Reflective Journal Two-Plagiarism
Reflective Journal Two: Plagiarism
Instructions
Journals are a private opportunity for students to reflect upon their personal and professional lives. They will be read only by your instructor and kept confidential. The journal is not a report — it is about the student sharing their observations/feelings about a topic. This journal does not need to be in the APA template, but if you put it in the template, it must be in the correct format. References are not required for this assignment. After reviewing the content on plagiarism in the previous module, discuss each of the following:
1. Define plagiarism according to the assigned readings and resources listed in the module.
2. What different types of plagiarism are there?
3. Give two examples of how a student can prevent plagiarism.
Use the following headings:
Introduction (all headings bold)
An introduction typically begins with a few general statements (three to five) about the topic, followed by a purpose. An example of a purpose statement is: “The purpose of this reflective journal is to define plagiarism, list the kinds, and give two examples of plagiarism according to the assigned readings.” Purpose statements go at the end of the paragraph. Remember, paragraphs have at least three to five substantive statements. A good introduction should stand on its own. In other words, the reader should be able to read the introduction and fully understand what is in the paper.

In at least two paragraphs, describe what the assigned readings say about plagiarism. Remember, paragraphs have at least three to five substantive statements.
