This week’s Seminar addresses the multitude of career options in the legal field. We will also review the Syllabus and discuss what will be covered in this course, requirements, and expectations. The Seminar also provides an opportunity to ask questions of the instructor either on the course expectations, the reading, the discussions, or any other topic that is relevant to the course.

This week, a portion of the seminar will consist of a virtual field trip to the Library, where you will learn tips and strategies for using this vital resource. Research skills are very important in the legal profession and this unit will get you started in building these skills by completing the Learning Activities and participating in this virtual field trip. The Library has many law-related and career-related materials that will be useful to you as you progress in your academic program. Please complete the Unit 2 Learning Activities prior to the Seminar and bring any questions you may have to benefit the most from this virtual field trip experience.
