Course Outcomes
This assignment provides documentation of student ability to meet the following MPH620 course outcomes:

Requirements
- The ILE Program Plan Background and Methods will be graded on quality of self-assessment, use of citations, use of Standard English grammar, sentence structure, and overall organization based on the required components as summarized in the directions and grading criteria/rubric. This assignment is worth 150 points.
- Create your manuscript using Microsoft Word, which is the required format for all Chamberlain College of Health Professions documents.
- Follow the directions and grading criteria closely. Any questions about this paper may be posted under the Q & A Forum.
- There is no requirement for the page length for this assignment.
- APA format is required with both a title page and reference page (no abstract is required). Use the required components of the review as Level 1 headers (upper and lower case, centered):

Preparing the Paper
For this assignment, you will need to complete the background and methods portions of your Program Plan. Here are the guidelines for these sections:
General Guidelines
- Page numbering
- Centered below bottom margin
- Font
- Times New Roman 12 point is recommended.
- Spacing
- Double-spaced throughout, with the exception of the references, and quotations of more than four lines or two or more sentences.
Content Guidelines
- Literature review
- The literature review should include a minimum of 8 scholarly articles, published within the past 10 years.
- Theory
- Theoretical foundation of the research topic
- How does theory help you better understand and address this public health topic?
- Program Overview
- Describe the You must select at least one goal for your proposed program plan.
- Describe at least 4 objectives of your proposed program. . You can consult your grant proposal assignment from your MPH507 course for more details on how to write SMART goals and objectives.
- Description of the program
- Implementation Setting- Describe the setting in which your program will be implemented
- Methods
- Description of the quantitative and/or qualitative methods that will be used and the benefits of using these methods (For example, will you use a survey, conduct interviews or focus groups, etc. to assess the effectiveness of your program?)
- Description of your study sample? Who are you going to collect data from?
- Sample data collection questions- Draft at least 5 survey or interview/focus group questions

You may leave a titled blank page for Acknowledgements, following the Title Page and a titled blank page for the Abstract, following the acknowledgements and before the Introduction. You will complete these blank pages upon submission of the completed Program Plan in MPH620. You may also include your previously submitted (and edited if necessary) Title Page and Introduction.
