As a worker, you really need to know what your minimum statutory rights are and so I highly recommend that you go through the ESA. If you (personally) have not experienced any statutory violations, then you can write about someone you know who was a victim of a statutory breach of a section in the ESA. If you share a personal story, please use pseudonyms for any people and companies/employers you mention in order to protect the identities of the parties involved. Also, make sure you provide enough detail so it is clear that the employer contravened a section (or sections) of the ESA. You must cite the section(s) of the ESA that were breached and provide a hyperlink to the section mentioned under your “References”. An alternative is to research a case where the key issue was a clear violation of the ESA and share that case in the discussion forum by providing a case summary.
