Find a PEER-REVIEWED article.
• Find an article that interests you. Something that can be easily relatable
• You are responsible to find the article.
• The article should relate to the ‘business side of healthcare’. That might include money, customers, demographics, personal or area characteristics related to health.
• Download the FULL ARTICLE (all pages) in PDF form. Attach Pdf article with submission
• Your goal is to produce one slide. That slide should contain one or two graphs or tables. Graphs are better. Therefore, when you review article, look for numbers that might make a good graph.
• Prepare a bar graph in Excel. No pie charts.
• Slide should look professional.
• Only ONE font. (Size can vary for headings) o Insert Excel graphs and screen-grabs as picture (Edit-Special-JPEG)
• Graphs, tables and exhibits cannot be copied direct from article and must be developed from scratch in Excel, Word or PowerPoint.
• You will not be allowed to present using cut-and-pasted content and your grade will be zero.
Make sure to have a 350-400 word page explaining exactly what the graph is saying. Write this like you are presenting it to a room full of individuals and has no idea what the graph is saying.
