It is
recommended that you exercise 30-60 minutes a day. Look at Table 9-4 on page
360 (I need the table please) and find 3 activities that you do now or could
add to your current lifestyle. Calculate how many calories you would expend if
you did this exercise for 45 minutes.
To lose a
pound of body weight requires a deficit of 3,500 calories and the usual
recommendation is to aim for a 500 calorie deficit per day. Based on your
calculations above, which of these activities would allow you to burn 500
calories in the shortest amount of time. (1 point)
