Question: In view of natural disasters, such as Hurricane Katrina, and terrorist incidents, such as 911, or the Boston Marathon Bombing, what do you view as a priority for the Department of Homeland Security? Why? Will the current national economic crisis help or hinder the work of DHS? Are there other factors that you would consider critical to DHS that need to be considered given the changes in the Congressional budgets and polices relating to Immigration and Emergency Response?
