Week 1 Discussion

Course Project Approval

For the Course Project, create a project you believe would help your current organization. Describe the project and explain why you believe it is important. Make sure the project will take at least a year to complete. Once you provide this information, your instructor will either approve your project or ask you to make revisions and then provide approval after changes are updated. Please complete this discussion by Tuesday of this week.

Project Scope and WBS

As the project manager of your Course Project:

What individuals would you have involved in the creation of the WBS, and why?

Could having more diverse group of individuals involved help with scope management?  Explain how. (Remember, diversity isn’t just about race and culture. It is a broad concept.)

Keep in mind you are in the organizing and preparing phase of the project management life cycle.
