At this point in the course, you should start thinking about the final unit’s research paper when you will create a cybersecurity strategy for a critical infrastructure. For this assignment, produce a thesis statement, an outline, and an annotated bibliography centered on system and people risks to an infrastructure. In order to complete this assignment, you will need to do the following things:
Research and decide on the type of critical infrastructure for which you will create a cybersecurity strategy. Examples include a nuclear plant (such as Hanford Nuclear Facility), a utility system (such as Tacoma Public Utilities), a critical network, a critical transportation carrier (such as BNSF Railroad), or a gas pipeline. I would like to choose a cybersecurity strategy on a nuclear plant.
Create a cover page in APA style.
Develop and write out your thesis statement.
On the same page as your thesis statement, develop an outline for your research paper.
On a separate page, develop a three-source annotated bibliography that you will use in your upcoming research paper.
Ensure that you follow APA guidelines and formatting for each item you submit (cover page, thesis and outline, and three source annotated bibliography). Keep in mind that in an upcoming unit you will complete your research paper by doing the following things:
Examine and identify cyber threats (insider, outsider, etc.) that could affect the critical infrastructure.
Create a cyber awareness plan for employees working at the critical infrastructure facility.
List any legal or ethical issues that may help or prevent cybersecurity.
Create a cybersecurity strategy for protecting the infrastructure.
Explain strategies and policies that managers can implement to increase cybersecurity.
