States billions of dollars each year” (CDC, 2018). In response to these statistics and other
research, states and cities across the United States are passing laws to raise
the minimum age to purchase tobacco products from 18 years of age to 21.
Perform research on the short-term and long-term effects
that tobacco products have on teenagers and adults, along with the impact
smoking and tobacco related products have on the healthcare system.
