You are working in an after school program which offers eight weeks of anger management skills training and problem-solving skills to children who have received multiple discipline referrals for defiance, aggression and disruptive classroom behaviors. Everyone knows the program is good for the youth; school administrators love the program because they see how children benefit behaviorally when they complete the program. Parents and the children who come through the program have spoken highly of the benefits.
The school district is looking to eliminate funding for the program unless the program is evaluated for effectiveness. Your boss assigns you to conduct an evaluation of the program.
Address the following in your paper:
How would you go about setting up what to measure and how?
What types of data would you use?
Who would you identify as key stakeholders, and how would you utilize stakeholders in your review, or not? What type of evaluation approach would you employ and why?
What would you do to ensure confidentiality, cultural relevance and uphold ethics?
