This week, we have moved deeper into arguments and how they work. As you have tried to persuade people of your points of view in the past, you have probably considered questions like the following: what premises and conclusions should I use? Are there premises that would work well in this particular situation, but that would not work elsewhere? How do I gather the information I need to support my premises?

One good way to think about the strength of arguments is to think about the arguments that convince us. Different arguments will have different effects on different audiences. An argument that is convincing to you may not be convincing to others. Answer the following questions:
